Minggu depan saya bekerja hanya tiga hari. Hari Jumaat pula cuti Good Friday.

I faham! Says the Aussie-fied boy in broken Malay. 🙂
First paragraph: cough medicine makes u drowsy. Even after you’ve stopped taking it.
Second paragraph: you will be working only 3 days next week. w00t! You will just laze around, visit the parents or read a book.
Third paragraph: you had doubts about writing the post in Malay but you felt good in the end because your composition is still ok. You don’t know who will understand this yet you are also too lazy to translate!
Kamu sungguh bersemangat!
You mean “saya faham!” heheheheheh. I got bits of it. I got the drowsy/sleepy but not the cough medicine. I understood the working three days next week and the planned activities. By now I was tired and couldn’t be bothered translating. 🙂 I was struggling, after all, with my Standard 4 Malay from 1985.
Cheers Mooiness and tfp 🙂
I’m really sleepy this morning. It’s strange, because I went to bed at my usual time last night. I slept well, I didn’t even dream.
Since taking the cough mixture the doctor prescribed I haven’t been coughing at all. I feel much better – that cough was exhausting. The instructions on the bottle are to take five ml every four hours. It’s strong stuff that can make you drowsy. There’s a warning on the bottle: “If affected do not drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery.†I don’t think it’s the cough mixture that’s making me sleepy this morning, because I haven’t taken any since nine o’clock last night! I don’t know. The cough’s improving, so I’ve been lessening the dosage.
Next week I’ll have a three day week at work. The Boss told me to take Monday off, because I have accumulated a lot of time in my time book, due to my trip to Malaysia a few weeks ago. [Actually The Boss didn’t specifically tell me to take Monday off, he just told me to take the time off.] Friday is the Good Friday holiday. The break is from Friday until the following Tuesday! It’s great to have such a break. We don’t have any plans to do anything or go anywhere, we’ll stay home, rest, read, see the folks, that sort of thing.
When I started writing this morning, I felt like writing in Bahasa Malaysia. It felt a bit strange as I am not used to doing this, but I’m pleased because I still have the ability to write in this language. But I have no idea who among the readers of my blog will be able to read and understand this writing! And I can’t be bothered to translate this insignificant writing…
Are you Malaysian?
