Yesterday was a day filled with one of my favourite events: not one, but TWO secondhand booksales! There’s a library discard book sale this weekend, as well as another Save the Children booksale.
It was wonderful, even if I came home completely dusty and with grimy hands from handling all those old books and rather poorer than when I started…

Total spent: $86.50, for sixty two books. The library booksale wasn’t as enjoyable as in previous years – the range of books available didn’t seem as good. The Save the Children sale on the other hand was as good as ever. I’m resisting the urge to go back a second time. As you can see, both sales had lots of Malay language books. This is somewhat unusual – normally there are more Indonesian language titles. I’m not complaining!
Continuing my love affair with the scanner, I scanned some of my favourite covers.

That’s a nice way of putting it, TB. Others would just say I’m nuts!
