So here I am in Sydney. It’s been a busy two days – I’ve spent much of the time wandering around the city and China Town with jl, buying supplies for Chinese New Year (ang pow paper especially), indulging in my stationery fetish, and generally reacquainting myself with the place. M’s been busy working and having a generally very productive time. I think blogging’s going to be sparse this week because I seem to have developed an aversion to sitting at the computer and much prefer to Do Stuff rather than write about it. I’m jotting notes down from time to time, though, so I’ll have a record anyway.
I’m missing Baubles the Cat, although it definitely sounds like she is having a fine time under the tender care of Juji and Jay the catsitters.

Hi Con, I hope you are having a good time in Chinatown. Don’t forget to check out my favourite eatery – Chinese Noodle Restaurant
Shop TG7, Prince Centre, 8 Quay Street Haymarket (Street-level, Thomas Street side) – you’ll know you’re in the right place if there are persian carpets on the wall and fake grapes hanging from the ceiling.
By the way, some happy new year news – Spoony and I got engaged on NYE…
Hey Anna! Happy new year, and congrats on the engagement. Coincidentally, CW and i walked past Chinese Noodle Restaurant yesterday and i commented that it was one that the Hub and i are always promising each other we must visit. (It’s just a few doors down from our apartment.) 🙂
Congratulations, Anna!!! That’s wonderful 🙂
And thanks for the recommendation of that restaurant, we’ll have to see if we can make it there!
