5.5 movies out of this list, which surprises me, as I am no movie buff. (M can confirm that I’d rather read a book.) And of the ones I’ve seen, I especially enjoyed the “family” movies. What does this say about me?

I have seen 15/25. Being a movie buff how is it I haven’t heard of a few of these films 😛
Re: The Karate Kid – was a remake with Will Smith’s son.
I think that family movies such as Toy Story are written with both children and adults in mind, and so have to entertain on several levels. They are also can be really well written. Anyway that’s my excuse for liking family movies 🙂
Most of mine were family movies too, basically because I mostly go to the movies if I take the kids. However, I agree with Steph – there are some top quality kids’ movies that entertain adults as well
