It’s almost June, and you know what that means!
Last June I compiled a list of everyone who participated, and I’d like to do that again this year.
The form’s here. Give me your blog name and URL and I’ll do the rest. I’ve also asked a question, but that’s just because I am curious.
Every year someone will ask: “What is this blogjune thing?”
This is the fifth year of #blogjune (can you believe it).
It all started on Twitter and seems to have become an annual event for a few of us in Australia and New Zealand. A group mania grips us all and we try and blog every day for the month of June. That’s it. It’s as simple as that.
You will note the hashtag (#blogjune). That’s thanks to its Twitter origins, and the fact that many of us will share our blog posts via Twitter. I think some of us will not be longform blogging, but will be microblogging – on Twitter.
Someone else will usually ask: “But what if I fail to blog every day? Blogging every day is hard!”
Well, yes, it is. However, this is not a test, and your effort will not be graded or criticised. Just see how you go. And above all, have fun!
I’m looking forward to this #blogjune, even though I suspect I may find it challenging to post daily this year. I’ll be travelling for two weeks in June, and I don’t know how connected I’m going to be.
Update: I forgot to ask for people’s Twitter handles; I’ve updated the form to ask for yours now. Optional 🙂

Awesome, can’t wait. And thanks so much for coordinating again. 🙂
Look forward to your posts Michelle 🙂
Haven’t done this BlogJune before. Is a blog through my library’s site OK? or does it need to be a personal blog?
Thanks for dropping by, Mary. Any blog will do 🙂
