I’ve spent the last two days trying to reorganise my study. Right now it’s a complete mess.
I seem to have a tendency to amass huge amounts of paper and books.
To date I have always been leery of throwing out any of my books but this weekend I have somehow managed to get over that reluctance and have filled a number of boxes. Hopefully one of the local charities will be happy for us to give them these boxes.
I’m now rather sore and achey from bending and lifting and moving all those books.
The challenge will be to avoid accumulating so much stuff again. I’m not optimistic but once all this current mess is cleared up, I will definitely enjoy the less cluttered space.

Do you have Little Libraries near your house? I have several in my neighbourhood and I gradually take my books to them. It is a rather slow process but I like that neighbours get the books.
Thanks for that suggestion – it’s a good idea once I’ve culled enough books so that I only have a few to release into the wild. In the meantime, the local charity is happy to accept the many boxes of books I have to discard, thankfully.
