Inspired/uninspired

Completely lacking in inspiration for today’s blog post so I looked at my RSS subscriptions for ideas.

Damyanti asked “Do you eat the same breakfast everyday?”

I do, currently – it’s not the healthiest option but I seem to lack the desire to spend any time on it and have been having these liquid breakfasts for some months now. I always have the vanilla flavour – I don’t enjoy the other flavours.

When I’m not working maybe I’ll spend the time making jook for breakfast.

Rice porridge
Jook 粥 or congee or rice porridge. The egg is a salted duck egg and there are pickled veggies in the bowl.
