The Using RSS and Blogs for Research talk that I am giving tomorrow with a colleague is completely booked out. There are 50 seats in the room we will be using, and it was all booked out less than a week after we organised it. So we set up a repeat session, to be held in a couple of weeks’ time. We sent out the advertising emails on Monday, and by 3pm today, that second session was full too. It seems that people are quite keen to hear about RSS and blogs! We have academics and students coming from all over the university, and I’ve even had to set up an appointment to see a very senior university person who wanted to come along but can’t make either session. Now I’m anxious that they will all be disappointed – is it the best thing since sliced bread?? I don’t know what their expectations are!

I hope it goes well for you (maybe it’s already over by now). I know how you feel. I’m giving a presentation about blogs, RSS, and podcasting to the executive committee at my corporation today, and they seem to be interested but I have no idea how it will be received!
Thanks, dk. It went well – see above
I hope your presentation is well received too!
I wish I could have seen it! I’m sure you rocked! 😉 NG.
Hi NG 🙂 Thanks 🙂
