Oo my first meme tag (all my other memes were just me deciding to jump on the bandwagon, not because I had actually been tagged). Thanks, Anna π
So, who would I like to play me in a movie based on my life?
A very difficult question to answer!!
My first answer was…
Fei Por!! (Cantonese for “Fat Lady” – this is what I have always called her, affectionately) …also known as Lydia Sum.
(Photo from Asia Pacific Arts.)
I have always loved her sense of humour, and the fact that she has sass.
I think I am allowed more than one answer, so my second choice would be Michelle Yeoh. I will own up here and say that this is strictly a vanity choice, as Michelle is way too cool to play me. My life has been pretty pedestrian thus far, and there really hasn’t been that much ‘action’ to speak of… But she is from Malaysia, after all.

Edit: 6:47am 6 September – original picture I used kept disappearing.
Who else shall I tag? Hmmm… all the usual suspects (Cherry, Mooiness, Food Pornographer, and Miss L – going by the picture on your blog I am hoping you don’t pick Big Bird π ), and everyone reading this blog who feels like doing this. Let me know!

Ahaha Lydia Sum eh? Good choice! And Michelle Yeoh for vanity reasons. Hmm. Since you did that, I’m gonna pick two too.
One that resembles the closest to myself in looks and I’d hope also in personality. And another for vanity reasons.
Ok it’s gonna be up soon. π
p/s good diversion as I’ve been very melancholic re: the scenes in New Orleans.
CW…Lydia Sum is priceless! I remember being scared out of my wits whenever I saw her on tv, while laughing at the same time!
and dang! Wish I’d thought of Michelle Yeoh too!
Scared of Ah-Fei Por??? Really??
Kids can be scared of the strangest things. When I was young ,I used to be scared of Tuckerbag. Remember him? The talking paper bag with the upside-down mouth.
Oh by the way, CW, I finally got round to that meme =).
Really! I think it was her hair, all over the place.
I have to admit though, minor things scare me. For example, I’m scared of cats: real live ones in the street, they freak me out!
CW…Baubles the Cat looks like a serious cat, but if she’s a house cat I think I would like her. It’s the ones on the street that get me a little anxious.
I like how you refer to her as Baubles the Cat, not just Baubles. Respeck…to Baubles the Cat.
Anna, I told Baubles the Cat you gave her respeck, and she just looked at me like I was insane π She is having a haircut tomorrow, which should be a very interesting exercise! (oh, and by the way, she is a complete house cat!)
