Baubles the Cat, part 2

Is it just my imagination, or has Flickr been quite slow and buggy these past few days? I was going to use it to share this delightful picture with you, but now it seems to have gone down.

This blob you see is the back view of Baubles the Cat. We had her fur shaved off a couple of weeks ago, because she had developed dreadlocks. She looks very funny at the moment as all the fur on her body has been shaved off, leaving only her head and cheeks, tail, and feet in their natural state. As a result she looks like she is wearing ugg boots.

The main reason I wanted to use Flickr to show you this delightful scene is because I wanted to point out Baubles the Cat’s udder to you. Looking at the picture, I guess you can see it the pink blob of tummy even without a Flickr note to point it out. Her fur usually hides the tummy – without it, all is revealed! With her colouring, she does kind of look like a strange, feline cow, I think!

Although she looks pretty grotesque at the moment, the very short fur makes Baubles the Cat very velvety and nice to pat.

Here she is in bed – in the guest room. While Cherry and Mister were staying the room was Out of Bounds, and she couldn’t stand it! As soon as the guests had departed for Sydney she rushed in and made sure she lay in the bed. Note part of M’s games collection in the bookshelf.
