HigherEdBlogCon

I meant to write about HigherEdBlogCon about a month ago, when I first found out it was coming, but what with one thing and another, I forgot all about it. Still, better late than never, I guess. (Does it count that I have emailed colleagues about it, twice? My colleagues must be sick of hearing me go on and on about blogswikispodcasts by now, I’m sure!)

HigherEdBlogCon 2006

If you’re interested in the use of technology (or should that be technologies?) in the higher education sector, it’s well worth taking a look at. By technology they are referring to the so-called “new online communications technologies and social tools” (blogs, wikis, podcasting, etc). So far there have been presentations on how technology is having an impact on teaching. This week the focus is on libraries! It’s well worth a look – and it’s free!
