Holidays…

We went bowling last night – the ten pin kind – for J’s birthday. I can’t remember the last time I bowled, and M hadn’t been for around twenty years! Let’s just say I am a hopeless bowler and leave it at that. I am not going to embarrass myself by sharing my final score here 😉 I have a vaguely sore shoulder this morning, which at first I thought was a muscular ache, but now I think I just slept funny.

The kids had a fun time, though. Here’s me breaking my photo rule (permission first!): a photo of L and D selecting a ball that a three-year-old can lift; this one is so blurred I don’t think there’s any danger of a positive identification. I didn’t know it was possible for a three-year-old to bowl, but L managed, with a little help from his Dad.

Today we don’t have much planned. Out for lunch (Jaws sushi) and then we’ll go and pick up some holiday supplies. We need food and a variety of cat biscuit that Baubles the Cat will eat without whinging for three hours beforehand because it’s low fat or for senior cats and good for her therefore no good to eat!

Now it’s time for another cuppa. I could get used to this!

Hmmm … bowling is fun. Haven’t bowled for quite some time.

Oh, my wife and I love Jaws Sushi. We went there for lunch 7 days out of 10 that we were in Perth last year! Try the uni (sea urchin) if you like putting soft, orange, squishy stuff into your mouth. 🙂 We can’t wait to go back to Perth to eat at Jaws Sushi. Or the teriyaki chicken rice at the Fremantle Market.

Hi Isaak 🙂 Wow, you really liked Jaws Sushi huh 🙂 We had a good lunch – I had my favourite (the seaweed salad) and M had his (teriyaki chicken set). I looked for uni but there was none, unfortunately. It was very busy! Who sells teriyaki chicken at Freo markets? I’ll have to check it out next time we’re down there…

Yah … we really like Jaws Sushi. The last trip to Perth in April, we only managed to go there twice.

You can get the teriyaki chicken in Freo market at the food court, near where the Chinese guy does charcoal portraits. U can also get nice, hot Chinese-style corn soup (my wife’s favourite).

Hi Isaak yep I think I know the food court you mean, Old Shanghai, right? I only know of Taka’s in that food court for teriyaki chicken.

Yup, that’s right … Old Shanghai. My wife and I just couldn’t remember the name of the food court. 🙂
