May bloggers meetup

Had a great time at bloggers’ meetup last night. After some months of not going along, it was lovely to catch up with Kathryn, Simone and Dee and nice to meet Hyeran, Gary, Nat and Jonathan (there’s a Perth slashdot group??). And great to see Matthias too. Again I was guilty of being too stuck to my seat – should’ve gone and circulated and chatted with Bronwen and Grum and the other folks down the other end. I did enjoy being in the librarians’ section of the blogosphere, though (we’re slowly infiltrating Perth bloggers’ meetup..)! It was strangely fun to talk about things like Matthias’s widgets while sitting on the Brass Monkey balcony. And I think we have formed the West Australian chapter of the Library Society of the World, too (what shall we do next, Matthias and Kathryn? 🙂 ).
