Translation

Too much dawdling yesterday meant that I left myself with not enough time to provide a translation of yesterday’s post. It wasn’t particularly profound but here it is anyway:

Holiday
Not going to work today and tomorrow. Reason is so I can spend some time with my sister who’s here from Sydney. Originally I’d thought of translating an essay, “The question of filial piety”, but now we’re off to a cafe to drink tea and chat so I’ll have to blog later!

I’ve been thinking that it might be good practice (for my language skills) to blog more regularly in Malay and Chinese. Translation will be a bit of an issue – I’ll need to make sure I leave myself enough time to provide one for each post. (In the spirit of inclusiveness. I was going to say that my non-English-language posts won’t really be that interesting or worthy of translation but then many of my English language posts are mere navel-gazing too, so…)
