Million Paws Walk

Last Sunday was a beautiful day for a walk. Specifically, the annual Million Paws Walk.

A beaut day for a walk

Paco had a wonderful time.

Oo-er

He enjoyed being with so many dogs, even if he did get slightly overwhelmed at the drink station, where lots of the bigger dogs were very enthusiastic when having a drink of water.

Who’s excited??!

Paco even jumped into the river at one point, while watching the golden retrievers retrieve sticks. It looked such fun, he forgot that he normally dislikes getting wet… Seconds after I took this photo he jumped in – and jumped out again quick smart. I love the expression on his face!

Walk’s end

We walked the entire 5km or so of the walk. At walk’s end Paco was still energetic and keen to say hello to other dogs!

I love that one with his ears pricked up looking at the other dogs.

He’s such a cheerful little chappy.

Yes, Paco is a very cheerful little dog. I love that he is so social, and that most people who meet him say, “Oh, but what a nice chihuahua he is!” – because he doesn’t yap or snap or do any unfriendly things (it’s sad that so many chis are so badly behaved). He likes other dogs, and even likes children!

Those pics make me home sick…

M, I guess we could be using the camera more 😉

Glenda, isn’t it strange how much worse homesickness gets immediately after you’ve been home, and then left again?
