On the last leg of our trip.
Impressions of Berlin:
So many wide wide streets.
Many people living on the streets.
Lots of cyclists here too, but it’s nowhere near as bike-friendly as the Netherlands.
Things are much cheaper here than in Amsterdam (or Paris, or London).
People don’t speak English as readily as they do in Amsterdam, but they seem to understand my Dutch-English amalgam. (I keep going to say dankuwel and alsublieft instead of danke and bitte schön).
M is a good travel companion.
