There was a horrendous stench in the bedroom. It seemed to emanate from the wardrobe. M went into the ceiling and found this huge dead rat, crawling with maggots and exuding the delightful odour. Not surprisingly, it was lying just above where the wardrobe is located. It’s now buried in the front yard, and the stench has dissipated completely.
