It’s been a brilliantly fine, warm sunshiny weekend – perfect weather to give the chihuahuas their baths. They are small enough to bath in the laundry sink.
Paco the bath veteran is usually just resigned to it and doesn’t protest very much. He particularly loves getting rubbed down afterwards and sighs deeply and contentedly while this is happening.
It was Peppi’s first bath. She hated it and tried very hard to get away.
After his bath, Paco was quite amazed that the same thing was happening to Peppi, and stood watching, a safe distance away, at the entrance to the laundry.
We locked them out in the back yard to dry, and to keep them out of the way while we vacuumed and mopped the house.
