I’ve been enjoying a long weekend this weekend. No commitments and no schedule and just doing whatever I feel like. It’s been bliss! (I have had daily afternoon naps, and have finished four books.)
M took this photo of the dogs, who were lying on me while I was napping on the couch. I think Paco and Peppi have both been enjoying the weekend as much as I have. They love having us at home.
As to why they both have their tongues out, I have no idea, but it definitely makes for an amusing photo.

Can I ask, had you already started them, and then decided to kick ’em over? as I am meditating on my inability to handle reading more than two books at once.

Genevieve, I had already started one of them – and read the other three over three days. To be fair they weren’t particularly taxing reading (two Val McDermids and one Robert Van Gulik)… The fourth book was Slowly Down the Ganges by Eric Newby.
