From A Guy’s Moleskine Notebook:
One book you’re currently reading: The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing
One book that changed your life: The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
One book you’d want on a deserted island: In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust
One book you’ve read more than once: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
One book you’ve never been able to finish: The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy
One book that made you laugh: Bridget Jones’ Diary by Helen Fielding
One book that made you cry: The Runner by Cynthia Voight
One book you keep rereading: Earth Abides by George R Stewart
One book you’ve been meaning to read: Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie
One book you believe everyone should read: Rainbows End by Vernor Vinge
I found this surprisingly hard to do. I had more than one book for several categories, and I tried not to repeat books. Also I realise I haven’t given any justification for my choices. (Another post?)
One Comment
I can’t read past page 5 of The God of Small Things. I’ll put Rainbows End on my list. 🙂
