Amen to Bach, and Haydn (we did his Creation last week in a concert, and it was sublime), and jacarandas, and macadamias. And purring cats, and walks along the river in city parks.
I remember hearing the Brandenburg Concertos booming out of a house on the fringes of the forest at Noosa, on my honeymoon. It was amazing – I already knew the music well then, but the setting and the music together were simply unforgettable. And the person playing it put it on a few times during our fortnight in holiday units nearby, too. Magic.
Macadamias. Blue jacaranda flowers on the footpath. Ohhhh.
Love jacarandas – was blown out by them in Sydney a few weeks back.
And macadamias- I get a kilo of the freshest from our farmer’s market every month or so
thanks for your thanks
