A view of my new office.
There are no windows, unfortunately. Luckily the room itself feels quite pleasant.
The walls are unremittingly bare. I think I am going to need to bring in pictures and things to add some colour to the place.
However my desk is more or less set up now. The computer runs well (even if I have to use XP due to certain applications that don’t run on Vista) – and I now have admin rights to it so I can install Firefox and other applications as needed.

feature wall painted your favourite colour. That’s what I did! I will post a picture on twitter – k
Plants. Chocolate. Some art.
Definitely pictures. Preferably outdoor scenes to make up for lack of windows.
Wow, you have so much room!
A plant for the little coffee table would be perfect.

Plant for coffee table.
People!
kim, i have at least three favourite colours though – red, orange and royal blue. Visions of rainbows π
Penny what sort of chocolate do you mean? Intriguing.
Wow, office! Whole empty office to yourself! Lots of space on walls for art and pictures of rainforests to substitute for windows. Perhaps a mural incorporating your favourite colours on one wall? Or print of Flaming June or flowers by Ellis Rowan? (Chocolate – Green & Black’s Maya Gold, or Choccolo’s dark mint). Congratulations again on your new position.
layout looks familiar but without the wonderful window. (++ hope it hasn’t got the air conditioning noises either π
Michelle, I don’t know why your comments got snagged by spam karma, and then I couldn’t decide which I liked better so I approved both. I like the suggestion of people – am inviting people to come see me π
Hi Sheena, thanks for the chocolate suggestions.
kalgrl definitely no air con noises. Also it’s not as freezingly cold as my old office!!
