I realised yesterday that although I’ve been working in my new office for some weeks now, I hadn’t yet taken a photo of it. (I seem to have  made a tradition for myself: move offices and record the move with a photo or two. See my 2007 office.)

In March I started a new role. Basically it’s a sideways move into an area of library management that I have had limited exposure to – collections and access. Before this I was in charge of our client services area.

The move’s meant that I had to move offices – and campuses. Here’s my new office:

Yes, it has a lovely big window. The office I’ve moved from was much less pleasant in that there were no windows, and the desk had me with my back to the door.

It’s already pretty untidy.
This morning they put signs up.
Note the spelling error. I like it but I think we’re going to get it changed.
