Last week I asked on Twitter whether any Perth people were interested in meeting up in the next couple of weeks or so – for an end-of-year celebration thing, so to speak.
Eight people gave their preferences at my Doodle poll – thanks all! (On a side note, Doodle is a great tool to use if you ever need to organise and get a number of disparate people together.)
Of course, now we’ve gone and done that, I realise that what I really should have done, was try to get people to come together this coming weekend (20/21 November), because that’s the weekend Ruth (aka @restructuregirl) will be here in Perth! (The other slightly annoying thing is that @kalgrl will be in Perth on 24/25 November – if only there was a way for us all to meet up!)
So, with abject and sincere apologies for changing things again – people, if you’d like to come and meet up with Ruth around dinner time this Saturday 20 November, please leave a comment here (or email me [flexnib at gee mail] or send me a DM via Twitter).
Venues are indeterminate at this stage, so if you’ve got any suggestions for where we should meet please feel free to say so!
Oh, and the Doodle poll indicates that seven people can make it on 2 December – so I guess we can discuss that as well if you feel so inclined…
