From time to time, I kind of miss posting a Daily Image. I did this last year, and quite got into the swing of it. Took this photo this morning. I’m wearing a long Chinese-style black gown (pity the frog buttons aren’t visible) and a reversible Chinese silk shawl/cape. A bit of colour to brighten my day as I was feeling a bit meh with M leaving for Singapore this morning (he’s presenting a paper at the IATUL 2012 conference).
I enjoyed the Daily Image challenge last year, and said I’d try to do a couple of challenges this year – a reading and reviewing one, and a weekly photo one – but haven’t managed to keep up with either of them, what with one thing and another at the start of the year.
I suppose there’s still time to do those challenges this year, if I want to. I’m not sure I want to, though…

That’s a lovely shot of you. I sorta miss the daily image shots, or rather the sense of community around them. I don’t quite miss taking them though.

Yep it was difficult to find creative poses everyday – which is why I ended up doing more or less the same thing most days, and just varying my outfits!
