Yesterday I did something I’ve never done before.
I made a pair of earrings.
The big beads are carved agates, and the little ones are teal-coloured wood. The earwires are sterling silver.
If you look closely at them you’ll see that the loops I made joining the headpins to the earwires are rather misshapen. I think I need better tools – the pliers I used to make the loops and cut the headpins were the ones on M’s Leatherman. Long-nose pliers might have been better.
Amazingly the earrings didn’t fall apart overnight. I could try to redo them (I have a few headpins still) but I think I’ll leave them as they are – my first earrings.
I made the necklace too. (I have a lot of beads lying around.)
