Travel concerns

I’m in Brisbane at the moment, to attend a meeting tomorrow.

The flight (just over 4 hours) was uneventful. Although I do think that if you say the meal has chorizo in it – a mere single slice is a bit rude…

The city has put on its best weather for me. It’s bright, sunny and warm, with a light breeze. It feels like spring!

I got the train in from the airport. I think trains are my preferred mode of travel. You have lots of room (generally) and you don’t have to talk to anyone if you don’t want to.

The hotel room has a bath. Mmm… One of my favourite relaxations is sitting in a hot bath with a good book. Alas, I havent got any paper-based reading material with me (must try and remedy). Or do I want to risk it with my ereader?

The best thing so far: Jo is meeting up with me this evening – I’m honored that she is braving inter-city traffic to meet up with me 🙂
