Home stretch

So we’re on the home stretch, the last week of #blogjune.

How have you been finding it? Have you had a good experience?

This year we’ve had a few people start blogging just to participate – must say I have been especially impressed by those blogs. Looking at you @lgreenpd, and @morfaine. Also those for whom #blogjune was the push they needed: @infoliterati@ksaunders0, @joeygill.

A few people started new blogs for the month: @kalgrl, @katiedavis, @GraemeO28.

Which is not to say that those whose longstanding blogs I’ve been reading for a while were any less impressive. I have enjoyed your posts, @bonitoclub, @KatieTT, @acrystelle, @stephmcg, @FiFYI, @KimTairi@greengecko29, @petahopkins, @pianica, @dpgreen@ghylene@librarianhoi

I discovered some new blogs: @icecjan, @ellenforsyth@c_hocking, @stitchsarah, @tamgeorgette, @librarykris, @Karina_Tumon, @ajwillemse91, @kiwilibrarian@stokesrenee, @ironshush, @sharonu, @wendyldavis, @jzgarnett, @AletheaRaspa, @SonjaBarfoed@actorvious (who surely deserves a prize for still using Live Journal as a platform)…

Special mention to @jenelle in NYC, and @karentoittoit in South Africa!

So, what’s next? For me, because blogging is part of practising my writing skills, I’m not actually going to stop blogging once the month is up. In fact, I’m planning to continue blogging every weekday.

What are your plans? Will you keep blogging, in July?

(Of course I have missed people out – I’m sorry! This will be because I have not stumbled upon your posts recently… This is entirely a lapse on my part. Feel free to leave a comment, with your URL 🙂 )

Pondering the fact that I’ve used Twitter handles to identify blogs instead of the blog names themselves, oh dear. I’m too tired to go and correct this, right at this moment.
