It was cold and rainy in Adelaide this morning, and not really fun weather to be a tourist. However, my sister beautlotus (who also attended yesterday’s funeral) and I did manage a very quick visit to the Art Gallery of South Australia before we had to go to the airport for our flights out this afternoon.
The photo was taken by my sister – of me trying to take a selfie in front of Veneration by Damien Hirst. You can see my wet shoes.
Home again now. It feels strange that just this morning I was in Adelaide, and now, twelve hours later, I’m back in Perth. I’m grateful for modern travel which gets you places relatively quickly and comfortably and safely.

Ooh, beautiful! I am so sad I missed going to AGSA. We saw this series overseas, and it was just stunning and overwhelming – really shows the impact of the curation and hanging.
love this!
