What’s important

Recently I have been finding myself not reading, not playing games, and not spending time online.

What have I been doing instead?

Spending time with family.

Playing with and cuddling the chihuahuas.

Talking.  Although I also sometimes find myself getting very irritable and not wanting to talk. And occasionally I think that being quarantined wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing (assuming you didn’t actually get seriously ill with H1N1 virus, of course).

Thinking.

Sitting. Just sitting.

I know exactly where you are coming from.
I liked Jo’s comment on my blog last week about time to just ‘be’.

Kate, I am starting to see that there is a silver lining to the current “cloud” 🙂

Time out is good for all kinds of reasons.

Sounds like you are giving a lot, CW, which has good things about it at times. Don’t be afraid to take a break here and there with quietness, it can be very sustaining.

I agree. At times when blogging and online stuff becomes a chore I just stop for a while. There’s a whole lot of other stuff happening in life that we need to enjoy.
