- My little nieces, R and Z. It’s wonderful to watch how they grow and develop from week to week. R’s ability to talk never ceases to amaze me. Z is trying to figure out how to walk, and it’s funny and breathtaking at the same time.
- iPhone games.
- Fountain pens. I like their aesthetic, but I also like how when I use them to write I have to slow down. This is very good for the thinking process. And it’s good to slow down from time to time.
- Scandinavian authors. Henning Mankell, Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö, Marianne Fredriksson and Arnaldur Indriðason. Now I really, really want to go north.
