I haven’t written any of these posts for a long time.
Having been listening to ABC Classic FM’s Classic 100, I’ll say that I’m grateful for/love the following pieces of music:
- Bach – Suite No 1 in G for Solo Cello, BWV1007
- Mozart – Piano Concerto No 21 in C, K467
- Mozart – Requiem, K626
- Beethoven – Symphony No 6 in F, Op 68, “Pastoral”
- Mozart Concerto in A for Clarinet, K622
Along with literature classical music is another of the joys in my life.

I am annoyed I missed most of that, though driving I heard the odd bit of commentary, as well as an amazing recording of Martha Argerich playing the Rach 2. OMG.
It was lovely to hear the comments from listeners coming in. I’m certainly going to play it during the day next year!
