ABC Classic FM’s annual listener poll – this year’s theme is ‘Feel Good’ music. I found it hard to pick my favourites for this one, given that a lot of the music I listen to makes me “feel good”. I guess I tend to listen to music I like and enjoy and the vast majority of it makes me feel good? They ask you to nominate your favourite out of your ten choices: I chose the Brandenburg Concertos. (I nearly chose the Bluey theme but at the last minute went with an old favourite.)
I loved 2022’s Classic 100 Music for the Screen. (Yes, I blogged about the Classic 100 in 2022)
Last year’s Classic 100 Favourite Instrument still makes me shake my head. It should’ve been the piano.
And I’m still bitter that the 2019 Classic 100 Top Composer was Beethoven. It should’ve been BACH! Hmmph.
