Tuesdayitis

I realised yesterday that it’s almost the end of October, which means November is next, followed by December… It will be 2007 before we know it. How did 2006 go so quickly?

I feel hungover this morning, for no apparent reason (déjà vu?). This maybe has something to do with the fact that I had a ten-hour workday yesterday. Finished the day by giving a talk to sixty MBA students, on referencing. They clapped when I was done which was very amusing and gratifying at the same time. Anyway, the rest of the week looks ‘normal’ – apart from the fact that I have two more talks to deliver: tomorrow, one to all my colleagues (we’ve been doing scenario planning and I got volunteered by my group as our presenter), and on Friday a talk (could be a video conference) on blogs and wikis to a bunch of law librarians. If you’d told me, six years ago, that becoming a librarian would mean a lot of teaching and public speaking, I wouldn’t have believed you.

Still, my week is no where near as exhausting as JadedLotus‘s sounds like it’s going to be…
