Happy New Year everyone!

I didn’t mean to take a blog break over Christmas but what with all the festivities and accompanying post-party lolling about, I just never got my act together to sit and write.

I spent a lovely Christmas with family and friends. This was my first ever vegetarian Christmas, too (all other previous vegetarian periods didn’t coincide with Yuletide), and I’m pleased to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Next year – a vegan Christmas? We’ll see.

Paco has enjoyed Christmas too, mainly because M and I have been on holidays and he loves having us around, I think. He also enjoys going out and meeting his canine friends. I love this photo of him playing with Honey the German Shepherd cross. It’s very amusing to watch them play – Honey is very gentle with him and while Paco tears around like a wound-up toy, she carefully lopes around him without stepping on him. She trod on him once and gave him a bit of a fright – Honey’s paws are about the size of Paco’s head.
