New job? Congratulations! Same place, or new altogether?
I like that you include “neighbour’s parties” in your not-fun list, the large gatherings of people I know marginally is one of my least favourite aspects of the Christmas season too.
Thanks Sheena. It’s an altogether new job – just thinking I might have to blog this news. My info sharing is very fragmented these days, what with Twitter, Facebook, email, face-to-face and so on… The neighbour doesn’t even invite us to their parties – not that I’d go as they are not my kind of thing. They seem to involve dangerous amounts of alcohol and much drunken inanity. Being around drunks is not my idea of a good time… Thankfully drunkenness does not seem to feature in the events I choose to attend 🙂
