Handwriting meme

Because there’s nothing like a meme to get you blogging: thanks to Tony for this one.

Handwriting meme

  1. what is your name
  2. blog URL
  3. Write: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
  4. Favourite quote
  5. Favorite song (at the moment)
  6. Favorite band/singers (at the moment)
  7. Say anything you want
  8. Tag 3-5 bloggers

This was an interesting meme to write to, as it made me reflect on how I used to know what people’s handwriting looked like, but nowadays I don’t think I can say I recognise many people’s handwriting. Whose handwriting can I recognise? My mum’s, my sisters’, my brother’s, sister-in-law’s, M’s (all family)! And maybe a few colleagues…

Excuse the poor lighting. It’s tough taking a photo at night, when the light is less than ideal, but leaving it to the morning would have meant the momentum was lost.

I’ve tagged Katie from Strawberries of Integrity, Penny from Walking Upside Down, and Tom from Revelations. Don’t feel compelled, of course, and as usual, if I haven’t tagged you but you feel so inclined, go ahead! (I ran out of space on the page or I might have tagged a few more people.)

* for those who care about such things, pen used was a Parker Sonnet with an F nib. Ink, a Sheaffer blue that has gone a bit strange – it is decidedly turquoise (don’t think the colour has come across in the photo).
