How can it be June already?
We used to do this thing in June every year – #blogjune. I think it’s safe to say I forgot all about it last year.
I don’t even know what I would blog this year. Idly discussing it on Twitter I commented that I had been thinking I could resurrect this space to document my current personal project, rather than (as well as?) posting it on Instagram.
I’m blogging this on my lunch break and realising that trying to figure out my old, long-neglected ecosystem of tools for blogging is a bad idea. Also that this is a poorly conceived plan for blogging the entire month of June, but I am beginning to realise that it is usually the things I set off to do without too much planning that seem to have the biggest (sometimes even best) impact on my life.
*The picture? That is today’s recording of my current personal project, which started way back at the end of February this year. I decided, on a whim, to commit to doing #the100dayproject which for me was to draw every day. I have managed to do this every day since I started, even though the 100 days is officially over. Lunch break is over so maybe I’ll tell you more about the project tomorrow.

I think that resurrecting your blog is a great idea and the BlogJune time is a great impetus for you. I look forward to reading it your posts!
Thanks for stopping by, Vassiliki! Lovely to see old friends here 🙂
Hmm #blogjune. I have done that for a few years I feel. After I saw this post yesterday I wondered for a minute if I would do it. But no. I will just keep occasionally posting on my food blog as I have done in recent years. Enough.
Fair enough. Sometimes things run their course and “you can’t go home again”…
The last time I did it was 2016. This was my final post about it. I think it is still how I feel. I still do food blogging, and daily photos on Flickr and Tumblr. But good to revisit abd decide it is still right balance for me. Thanks for that. http://hecubasstory.blogspot.com/2016/07/thoughts-on-blogjune-2016.html?m=1
Right! I feel inspired… time to start catching up.
No way! I did my last hoorah in 2016 as I explained in my comment to day one of Flexnib’s #blogjune. I am still food blogging and still doing Flickr Photo A Day, both of which had their origins in 23 Things. But I am enjoying seeing old friends pop up here. XX
Good! Look forward to reading your posts, Andrew 🙂
