Ruminations: Website graph

Ruminations: Website graph

Just found a way to depict one’s blog or website as a picture, at ForBattle.

Very pretty! (Click on the picture to see a bigger version, at Flickr. Check out all the other site flowers at Flickr!)

What do the colors mean?

blue: for links (the A tag)
red: for tables (TABLE, TR and TD tags)
green: for the DIV tag
violet: for images (the IMG tag)
yellow: for forms (FORM, INPUT, TEXTAREA, SELECT and OPTION tags)
orange: for linebreaks and blockquotes (BR, P, and BLOCKQUOTE tags)
black: the HTML tag, the root node
gray: all other tags

Yeah I tried that for ours and it was huge. After ten minutes I stopped it.

Wow Skribe, ten minutes?? Either your blog is super large, or the site was getting a lot of use at the time, or something. It has gotten a lot of attention lately – I see the BBC wants to interview the creator…

Howdy Cherry! Are you moving your blog to wordpress?

I put up the 15 minute flower. I let the programme run another 8 minutes and then gave up. One dog is reasonably big. One of the larger flowers that I saw on flickr. We’re about to pass 850 posts. Not bad for less than 2years =).
